Settled under the foot of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, this remote community-owned Wildlife Management Area offers way in to a wild and incredibly scenic views of maasailand.
West Kilimanjaro forms part of a migration corridor between the Kenyan part of the Amboseli ecosystem and the forested slopes of Kilimanjaro. The Amboseli elephants, which usually pass through the area in June and July, are noted for their even character, as well as for the huge tusks of the bulls.

Itinerary
2 days 1 night will add unforgettable experience in wildlife, culture and nature that will totally change perspective to a safari experience. West Kilimanjaro Enduimet wildlife management area is about 1,280 sq km (494 sq miles). The area is also home to the nomadic Maasai people who live with their cattle among the wildlife.
The acacia woodlands of Enduimet and several small mountains that range in height from 1000m to 2000m,host a variety of wildlife including (elephant, buffalo, giraffe, leopard, oryx, lesser kudu, eland, gerenuk, klipspringer, hartebeest, bushbuck, wildebeest, hyena, Thomson gazelle, and Grant’s gazelle). The rich birdlife in West Kilimanjaro makes for great birdwatching. Some of the notable species are Masai ostrich, kori bustards, crested francolins, white headed buffalo weavers, tawny eagles and white-bellied go-away birds. Of course your bird checklist will fill up quite quickly during your stay.
